RULES:

The following rules govern participation in the 1st National Design Competition “To the Rescue of the Planet” (the Competition). By submitting a proposal, participants accept and agree to fully comply with these rules.

First. Participation and Requirements

Anyone passionate about design, interested in promoting an environmental culture and contributing to environmental conservation, may participate.
if they meet the following requirements:

1. Be at legal age at the time of the publication of this call.
2. Reside within the territory of the United States of America.1. excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, and any other U.S. territories or possessions. This competition is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Have a valid official ID.
4. Provide a valid ITIN or EIN (Tax ID).

No purchase necessary / void where prohibited

Participation in this Competition is free; no purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win. The Competition is void wherever it is prohibited or restricted by law.

Second. Originality and Intellectual Property

Participants must register only and exclusively designs created under their own initiative, creativity and idea, of their own authorship, 100% unpublished and original. The designs must not have been submitted to any other contest or registered for intellectual property protection. Designs must not include registered trademarks, logos or copyrighted material owned by third parties. All submitted material remains the property of the participants until a winning design is declared.

Participants must guarantee the originality of their project and agree to indemnify and hold Organizer harmless from any claims, actions or liabilities arising from their design

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools or software to generate, modify, or assist in the creation of the design is strictly prohibited. SíMiPlaneta reserves the right to use AI detection tools and to disqualify any entry suspected of AI usage.

The Organizer reserves the right to verify the originality of all submitted designs. Participants may be asked to provide evidence of authorship upon request. Should any third party assert claims of intellectual property infringement, the participant accepts full responsibility and agrees to hold the Organizer harmless from any liability or expenses arising from such claims.

Third. Individual Submissions

Participants must submit a proposal individually; group submissions will not be accepted.

Fourth. Design Theme and Message

The design must encourage learning about, understanding, promoting and positively supporting an environmentalist culture. It must highlight the importance of caring for ecosystems and their richness and relate to the objective of this call, emphasizing how nature can bring two nations together.

Fifth. Technique and Text

Any illustrative technique may be used, but the artwork must not include any text or phrases.

Sixth. Colors

The design must be presented in one or two solid inks, without gradients or screens, and must indicate the Pantone® color code(s) used.

Seventh. Format

The design must be suitable for reproduction on fabric, in a vertical format measuring 7.08 in x 9.84 in (18 x 25 cm).

Eighth. Deadline and Format Compliance

No proposals will be accepted or considered outside the deadlines and format established in these rules.

Ninth. Registration

Registration for this call will be open from the date of its publication, —January 9 2026—until 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) on February 20 2026, through the website https://www.drsimi.com/
To register, participants must provide the required information in the registration form. Additionally, acceptance of these terms implies a declaration that:

1. the design is entirely original and of the participant’s own authorship
2. the participant holds 100% of the copyright over the design
3. The participant fully complies with the rules of the Competition.

Tenth. Submission Specifications

Proposals must be submitted exclusively through the website https://www.drsimi.com/ where registration will be FREE. Participants must ensure that, at the time of registration, they:

1. Attach their design in PDF format, sized 7.08 in x 9.84 in (18 x 25 cm).
2. Indicate the Pantone® color code(s) used.
3. Label the file as follows: smp_designproposal_lastname_firstname (example: smp_designproposal_rangel_eduardo).

Proposals that do not meet these specifications will be automatically disqualified and will not be considered. Participants must keep a copy of the submitted material as evidence of their authorship.

Eleventh. Selection of Finalists

After the registration deadline, a Selection Committee, consisting of SíMiPlaneta members and communication professionals, will determine the five (5) finalist entries. The five (5) finalists will be announced on February 27 2026 at 11:00 AM CST through the official Facebook page (facebook.com/drsimiUSA) and Instagram accounts (instagram.com/drsimiusa and instagram.com/similandiausa).

Once the five finalists are announced, social media users on Facebook and Instagram will vote to select the three (3) winners of the Competition. The winning entries will be chosen based on the following criteria:

1. The highest number of reactions (likes, hearts, etc.) on the original posts on Instagram and Facebook.
2. No use of bots or automated voting; any entry suspected of using bots will be disqualified.

The voting period will run from February 27 2026 at 11:00 AM CST until March 6 2026 at 9:00 AM CST. Votes cast after this period will not be considered.

Twelfth. Announcement of Winners

The announcement of the three (3) winners will be published on March 6 2026 at 4:00 PM CST on our website https://www.drsimi.com/ and on our social media channels.

Thirteenth. Fraud and Disqualification

If the Organizer detects any anomaly or suspects that a participant is preventing the normal development of the Competition by illegally altering their registrations or votes through any technical or computer procedures, or engaging in fraudulent or unethical activity that compromises transparency—such as buying votes, using automatic systems or bots—the Organizer reserves the right to automatically disqualify or withdraw the prize from any participant who directly or indirectly benefits from such actions. The Organizer may also take any civil or criminal actions it deems necessary.

The Selection Committee may disqualify any entry it considers fraudulent or unethical, declare the Competition or prize void if it deems necessary, and announce the three winners on the previously stated dates.

Fourteenth. Finality of Decisions

The decision to announce the five (5) finalists, the final voting results, or any other decision made by the Selection Committee will be final and non appealable.

Fifteenth. Prizes and Conditions

The three (3) prizes will be awarded to the three participants based on the number of votes received. The first prize will go to the design with the highest number of votes; the second prize will go to the design with the second highest number of votes; and the third prize will go to the design with the third highest number of votes. The prizes that SíMiPlaneta will award are as follows:
1st place:
One iMac 24” (512 GB SSD). Includes the 24” monitor, Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, power adapter, and power cord.
2nd place:
One iPad Pro 13” (256 GB) + Apple Pencil Pro. Includes iPad Pro, USB C charging cable (1 m), 20 W USB C power adapter, polishing cloth for nano texture glass display, and Apple Pencil Pro.
3rd place:
One GoPro Hero 13 Black camera. Includes the camera, one lithium ion battery and a Type C charging cable.
The prizes are personal and non transferable. They will be delivered upon identification of the winners through the submission of a digital copy of their official ID. SíMiPlaneta will contact the winners and send the prizes to the addresses provided by them using a designated shipping service, which will be insured at no cost to the winners.
The prize shipment will take place after coordination with the winners, starting the next business day following the publication of the winners. Winners are responsible for any and all federal, state, or local taxes applicable to the receipt of the prize. If required by law, the Organizer will issue the corresponding IRS Form 1099 to winners.

Sixteenth. Promotion and Recognition

By entering their work, participants agree and authorize SíMiPlaneta to exclusively promote and exploit the designs, as well as to publicize the winner(s) within the community. Participants must refrain from any actions contrary to this agreement.

SíMiPlaneta commits to recognizing the winner(s) as the authors of the designs.

Seventeenth. Intellectual Property

The intellectual property rights of the winning designs must be fully transferred to the Organizer for the design to be printed on an eco friendly fabric bag. The proceeds from the sale will be donated to a conservation project chosen by SíMiPlaneta, without any royalty payment. The Organizer will send a prepaid shipping guide to the winning participants to submit a signed document transferring the intellectual property rights, along with any additional information or documentation required. The duly signed document must be received before the prize is delivered.

The author(s) of the winning designs agree that the design or graphic art was created specifically to fulfill the purpose outlined in this call. By entering, the winners agree to transfer 100 % of the intellectual property rights and related powers of disclosure, integrity and collection to the Organizer. The use or dissemination of the design in any other form or activity is prohibited; otherwise, the winning status will be revoked, and the participant will be liable to the Organizer for any damages.

Eighteenth. Clarifications and Communication

Any clarification, information or complaint related to this Competition will be handled by the Selection Committee through the email simiplaneta@drsimi.comduring the hours of 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM CST.

Nineteenth. Acceptance of Decisions

By submitting their entry to the 1st National Design Competition “To the Rescue of the Planet”,, all participants agree to abide by the decisions made by the Selection Committee, as well as the voting results. Participants release the Organizer and all associated companies from any responsibility related to the Competition.

Twentieth. Ineligibility

Employees of any companies or associations that are part of Farmacias de Similares TX, LLC; Farmacias de Similares CA, LLC; Farmacias de Similares LLC; the ‘Por Un País Mejor’ group; as well as franchisees and their employees, are not eligible to participate.

Twenty first. Modifications to the Call

SíMiPlaneta reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel this Call at any time in case of force majeure, technical issues, or any circumstance that prevents the Competition from continuing under the original terms. It is the responsibility of interested parties to stay informed via https://www.drsimi.com/.

Twenty second. Confidentiality and Personal Data

The Organizer will collect and process participants’ personal data (including identification, address and tax information) exclusively for the purposes of this Competition, in compliance with applicable U.S. data protection laws. Such data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or when necessary to deliver the prizes. Participants acknowledge and accept this processing by submitting their proposals. The personal data collected through the Competition registration form, participation, and prize delivery, will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and used exclusively for the purposes of managing participation, contacting winners, and prize delivery.

Twenty third. Additional Grounds for Disqualification

In addition to other causes provided in these rules, the following shall result in immediate disqualification:

Submission of proposals after the deadline.

Submission of designs containing offensive, violent, discriminatory, obscene or inappropriate elements contrary to public morals or order.

Failure to comply with the required format (size, color specifications, PDF submission, etc.).

Refusal or failure to sign the required documents transferring intellectual property rights.

Use of AI tools or detection of fraudulent voting practices (as described above).
